We also invite colleges and local service providers for our children. We will offer workshops on various educational topics. While we specifically invite schools in Greenpoint and Williamsburg, schools in all neighborhoods are welcome to participate in SCHOOLFEST. SCHOOLFEST is totally FREE to attend. However, registration is required if your school or organization would like to participate & promote yourself. So far we have over 50 schools & organizations signed up. Town Square, Open Space Alliance and Polish & Slavic Center are calling all princes & princesses, witches & warlocks, super heroes & villains, cuite baby animals & monsters, zombies, etc, etc and your families! Our 9th annual Children's Halloween Parade & Party is coming up next Saturday! The parade assembles at 2:30 PM on Java Street between Manhattan Avenue & McGuiness Blvd. Come early if you want a balloon or tattoos for the parade. At 3 PM, we'll march down Manhattan Avenue to Driggs Avenue, and loop back to Java where a spooktacular party will follow.
